Refer a friend at Winoui: how invitation bonuses work
A refer-a-friend programme rewards you when someone you invite opens an account and meets a qualifying condition. Some programmes reward both sides; others only the referrer. If Winoui offers referrals to your account, the current reward and its conditions will be shown in your account area. This page explains how such schemes usually work and the responsibilities that come with inviting someone to gamble.
The usual sequence
- You obtain a personal invitation link or code from your account.
- Your friend registers through that link or enters the code at sign-up.
- Your friend verifies the account and meets the qualifying condition — often a first deposit, sometimes a betting volume.
- The reward is credited, frequently as bonus money with its own wagering requirement.
If your friend registers without the link, or enters the code after signing up, the referral is often not recorded. Get the order right the first time.
What to check in the terms
- Qualifying condition: what exactly the invited player must do, and by when.
- Reward form: cash, bonus credit or free spins — and any wagering on it.
- Caps: a maximum number of referrals or a maximum total reward.
- Exclusions: same household, device, IP address or payment method.
An illustration, not a Winoui offer: a referral reward of 20 in bonus credit with 20x wagering requires 400 in bets before it becomes withdrawable. The arithmetic is the same as for any bonus; see the wagering guide.
Referral abuse
Creating accounts for relatives with your own payment details, inviting yourself through a second account or buying "referrals" are classic forms of bonus abuse. Casinos match identities, addresses and devices, and the usual outcome is cancelled rewards and closed accounts for everyone involved. The bonus terms guide explains how abuse clauses are written.
Invite responsibly
Inviting someone to a gambling site is not like recommending a restaurant. Only invite adults who already gamble and who can afford to; never invite someone who is trying to cut down or who has excluded themselves. Make sure the offer is legal for them: gambling rules are national, and an operator authorised in one country may not be in another — your friend should check their own regulator's register. And be wary of anyone who offers to pay you for your invitation link, or asks you to share your account; that usually ends badly for the account holder.
Is it worth it?
For most players, referral rewards are small and occasional. They make sense when a friend was going to open an account anyway. They are not a reason to recruit people, and they never justify pressure. If a referral programme is the main reason you are thinking about a casino, look at the loyalty programme and cashback terms instead, which affect your own play more directly.
