Winoui cashback: a partial refund, not a safety net
Cashback returns part of what you lost over a set period. Unlike a deposit bonus, it is paid after the fact, which makes it one of the simplest promotions to understand — provided you know three things: what counts as a loss, which percentage applies and whether the refund arrives as cash or as bonus money. Whether Winoui runs cashback for your account, and on what terms, is shown on the operator's promotions page. Here is how to read such an offer.
Daily, weekly, game-specific
Cashback comes in several forms. Weekly cashback is the most common and is calculated on the previous week's results. Daily cashback works the same way on a shorter cycle. Some offers apply only to one category — live games, a particular slot, sports bets — and some are reserved for higher loyalty tiers, in which case the VIP guide applies. A variant sometimes called a "bonus insurance" refunds a single losing bet or session.
How the refund is calculated
The base is normally net losses: what you lost minus what you won over the period, on eligible games. An illustration, not a Winoui offer: over a week you stake on eligible games, win back some of it and end 400 down. A 10% cashback returns 40. If you finished the week ahead, there is nothing to refund. Some casinos calculate on deposits minus withdrawals instead, which gives a different figure when you have a balance left at the end of the period.
Look for a minimum loss threshold, a maximum refund per period, and whether money played with an active bonus is excluded. These details often make two "10% cashback" offers very different in practice.
Cash or bonus money?
Cashback paid as real money can be withdrawn immediately — that is the most valuable form. Cashback paid as bonus money carries a wagering requirement: the same 40 with 5x wagering means 200 in bets before withdrawal. Light wagering is common on cashback, but it is still wagering. The wagering guide explains how to price it.
The honest limits of cashback
Cashback never turns a losing session into a winning one; it only makes the loss a little smaller. It can also create a subtle incentive to keep playing "because part of it comes back". If you notice yourself thinking that way, set a weekly loss limit in your account and treat any refund as a bonus, not as a reason to continue. Our responsible gambling guide describes the available tools.
Before relying on cashback
Read when the refund is credited and how long you have to claim or use it, since unclaimed cashback can expire. Check that the operator is authorised by the regulator in your country — a refund scheme does not change the legal position. And compare it with the reload bonus if you are choosing between offers: one rewards depositing, the other softens losses.
